It was back in July, that I was contacted to make the atmosphere shooting of the brand by the young Caroline Takvorian, and when I fell in love with the clothes I've seen : lace, leather, black, everything of the parisian chic. A la fin du mois d'août j'ai eu la chance de shooter avec la magnifique Laura. C'est une jeune fille de 16 ans que j'ai trouvé grâce à une série de la photographe Charlotte Abramow. Je suis instantanément tombée amoureuse de cette beauté, de l'innocence qu'elle dégageait, elle était parfaite pour le shoot que je voulais réaliser. J'étais tellement contente quand elle m'a dit qu'elle acceptait de poser pour moi, et encore plus quand j'ai vu le résultat final. En plus, la créatrice Kelsey Genna m'avait envoyé deux de ces magnifiques créations ( de Nouvelle-Zélande ! ), et ce fût un plaisir de shooter avec une si jolie personne dans de si jolis vêtements.

By the end of August I had the chance to shoot the wonderful-oh so lovely Laura. She's a young 16 year old girl I found on a series by Charlotte Abramow. I instantaneously fell in love with here face, the innocence she sod off, she was the perfect girl for the romantic shoot I planned. I was so happy that she accepted to pose for me, and even more happy about the final result. Moreover, the designer Kelsey Genna had sent to me two of her wonderful creations ( from New-Zealand ! ), and it was a pleasure to shoot with such a beautiful girl dressed in such beautiful clothes.

Petit shoot qui s'est vite décidé avec ma belle Laura ( que j'ai trouvé grâce à une série de la photographe Charlotte Abramow il y a quelques mois ( ici et ici ) ) . Je l'avais déjà shooté fin août, ce qui a donné de super photos, mais que vous ne pouvez pas encore voir car elles doivent paraître dans un magazine en décembre ( je vous raconterai la rencontre avec cette beauté à ce moment là ;) ). Pour ce shoot ci nous n'avions pas beaucoup de temps, à peine une heure, je lui ai passé une robe, lui ai fait une tresse à peine improvisée, j'avais ramené quelques fumigènes et c'est parti ! Quelques épines dans la robe, quelques difficultés à avancer dans les ronces et beaucoup de courses entre l'allumage de fumigène à deux briquets et la prise de vue, voici ce que ça a donné ..

Little shoot I made quickly with my beautiful Laura. ( that I found on a series by Charlotte Abramow months ago ( here and here ) ). I've already shot her by the end of August, on which result a super series of photos, that you can't unfortunately see, because they should be used for a magazine published in december ( I will tell you everything about our first meeting then ;) ). For that shooting, we didn't have much time, about an hour, so I put on her a dress, made her a quick and improvised braid, I brought some smoke bombs, and here we go ! Few thorns in the dress, few difficulties to walk through the brambles, and a lot of running between lighting the smokes with two fires and shooting, here what it came ..

Je suis rentrée, finalement, et la rentrée c'est duur. Enfin, voici un de mes projets/devoirs que j'avais à rendre pour cette rentrée, qui était un bestiaire en cinq photos ( l'autre sujet était Hors les Murs, que vous pouvez trouver ici ). Pour ce sujet j'ai réalisé une série qui s'appelle "des Animaux et des Croyances" et dans laquelle j'ai associé chaque animal avec une croyance liée à lui dans un pays ou une tribu du monde.

I am back to school finally, and one of the homework we had to do was a bestiary in five photos ( the other was a series with the subject " hors les murs " that you can see here ). For this subject I choose to to a series called "Animals and Believes" and I associate one animal with one belief of a country or a tribe from somewhere.

the bear - in Europe, he's linked with obscurity, invisibility and virility.

the cat - for the Nias of Sumatra, the cat is the servant of Hell, he pushes guilty souls in infernal waters.

the rabbit - he's a lunar animal, because he gambols in the night and knows how to disappear with the silence of shadows.

the wolf - in China, he's the guardian of the Celestial Palace.

the fox - he is considered in China as the double of the human conscience.

Je suis de retour de mon voyage à nyc, et plein de choses sont revenues avec moi ! Premièrement je me suis enfin achetée le Canon 5D Mark II de mes rêves, j'en suis tout excitée. J'ai vraiment hâte de pouvoir commencer à shooter avec et de voir de quoi est capable mon nouveau bébé. Je l'ai testé un peu pendant mon voyage et j'ai déjà bien vu qu'il était totalement fou ! Soyez surs que je ne vais pas tarder à poster de nouveaux shoots ;) !

En attendant, voilà quelques photos de mon voyage prises avec le 5d

I'm back from my trip to nyc and lots of new things are coming back with me ! First I bought the Canon 5d Mark II, and I'm so excited about it. It's been for months that I've been dying for it, and I finally got it ! I really can't wait to start shooting with it, and to see what my new baby is able to do prodigiously. I tested it taking my trip's photos and it was already amazing ! Be sure I won't be long 'till the next shoot I'll post ;) !

C'est fait ! J'ai enfin fini mon livre ! Cette idée je l'avais depuis à peu près un an, faire un livre de photo incluant mon travail depuis que j'ai commencé, depuis le plus récent. Ce n'est pas quelque chose d'énorme, il ne contient que 80 pages, mais il est plein de photos, et surtout de celles qui me sont le plus cher.

Je l'ai fait dans le but de le vendre aux personnes qui seraient intéressées d'avoir un peu de mon art dans leurs mains. Ce n'est pas une rétrospective, ça serait trop prétentieux de le dire, je ne suis pas une grande photographe avec une longue carrière derrière elle, mais c'est quelque chose que j'ai toujours eu envie de faire. Il rassemble des anciennes photos, des nouvelles, et également certaines que je n'ai encore jamais montré. Je ne le vends pas spécialement cher, c'est 31€ pour une couverture souple, et 43€ pour une couverture dure, accompagné de papier mat.

J'espère que ce ne sera pas trop cher pour vous, et que vous apprécierez avoir un peu de moi chez vous ( je sais pas (cf les petits mouchoirs)) . Voilà un petit aperçu des 15 premières pages.

It's done ! I've finally finished my book ! This was an idea I had about a year ago, doing a photography book including from my oldest work to my newest. It is not something huge, it has only 80 pages, but it is full of photography, and especially my favorite photographs I've made.

I made it intending to sell it to people who might be interested to have a bit of my work in their hands. It's not a restrospective, because it would be too pretencious, I'm not a great photographer with a long career behing her, this is just something I always wanted to do. It brings together old work, new work, and some pieces I've never shown. I won't sell it very expensive, it is $37 for a supple cover and it's $52,55 for a hard cover, which comes with matte paper.

I hope it won't be too expensive for you, and you will enjoy having a piece of my art in your house :) You can take a look at little preview.

Voici quelque chose de plus personnel, shooté avec mon Canon AE-1. Mon scanner de négatifs pue un peu, donc les couleurs sont ressorties dégueulasses, et ne ressemblent pas à ma planche contact. Avec un peu de chance je vais pouvoir en changer en septembre/octobre, et je les re-scannerai pour avoir les bonnes couleurs !

Something more personal, shot with a Canon AE-1. My current scanner does suck, so the colours do not correspond at all to the reality ( how they are on my contact ), I'm really sad about it. Fortunately i'll be able to buy another scanner, much better, by the end of september/beginning of october, I'll then re-scann those negs to have the colours right !

Je suis enfin en vacances ! Vraiment contente d'avoir enfin du temps libre pour moi, pour mes photos et mes projets personnels . Je ne vais donc pas être très active sur ce blog pendant le mois d'août. MAIS il y a plein de choses qui vont venir à mon retour et que je suis impatiente de vous montrer. Voilà quelques trucs pour vous faire attendre :)

Qu'est ce qui arrive ?

- une série avec une fille et des hortensias que j'ai réalisé cet été
- un shooting planifié à la fin du mois d'août avec une superbe jeune fille et des vêtements magnifiques faits par Kelsey Genna ( http://www.kelseygenna.com/ ) dans une roseraie.
- un devoir pour mon école à propos d'un bestaire.
- un shoot d'ambiance pour une nouvelle créatrice française qui va lancer sa collection en octobre
- quelque chose sur un livre de photos (j'ai hâte de vous montrer ça ! )
- une interview dans le numéro du prochain Etoilée magazine.

I am finally in holidays youhou ! I'm so happy to have at last free time for myself, for my photos and personal project. I therefore won't be very active until the end of August ( due to these so waited holidays ). BUT I have soo many things to let you discover after this, that I am so excited to show you. I then give you something to wait :)

What's coming next ?

- a series of a girl and hydrengeas I did this summer ( I first got to develop the film ).

- a shoot planned by the end of August with a gorgeous girl and gorgeous clothes made by Kelsey Genna ( http://www.kelseygenna.com/ ) in a rose garden.

- a school project/homework about a bestiary.

- a atmosphere shoot for a new french designer who will launch her collection in october.

- something about a photography book ( I can't wait to show you this ! ).

J'ai voulu faire un post sur mon amie Isabelle parce que c'est une amie et une modèle extraordinaire et une très jolie fille. Je n'ai pas été surprise qu'elle me dise que quelques photographes lui avaient demandé de poser pour eux au studio photo où elle travaillait. C'est une très bonne amie à moi même si je n'ai fait que peu de photos d'elle. Le premier a été lors de mon premier shoot studio et l'autre a été dans la forêt, aux milieux des fougères.

I wanted to do a post about my friend Isabelle because she's an extraordinary model and a very beautiful girl. I then wasn't surprised when she told me that a couple of photographer in the photo studio where whe worked asked her to model. She's a very good friend of mine, (we're in the same class ) but I just made a few pictures of her. One was my very first shoot in a studio and the other was in the wood, in the middle of brackens.

my first studio shoot. Which was quite fun because another friend of mine had to throw the confetti at the right moment, we actually had a lot of fun!

La semaine dernière j'ai eu un des shoots les plus géniaux de ce que j'ai fait. J'étais déjà super heureuse de pouvoir shooter après quelques mois d'inactivité. J'avais ce projet en tête depuis déjà un petit moment, et quand j'ai finalement eu du temps pour moi, il a été tout naturel que je reprenne mon appareil et que je shoote. La modèle a été étonnante également, la jeune et belle Hanna s'est bien prêtée au jeu du rôle qu'elle jouait, d'une jeune fille perdue que je lui ai donné. Elle a très bien joué, juste comme je le voulait, et l'endroit était aussi très beau, la lumière du soir magnifique, bref je n'a pas été déçue.

Last week I had one of the most amazing shoot I've ever done. I was so excited to shoot after almost a month of inactivity. I had this shoot in my mind for a little while so when I finally had a little time for me, it was all natural to start again to shoot, starting by this idea. The model was amazing too, the young and so beautiful Hanna was perfect in the role of a lost young girl that I gave her. She acted perfectly, just as I expected, and the place was really wonderful in the sunlight, I wasn't disappointed at all.

Yesterday was released the latest issue of the magazine Javertime. It's a young canadian magazine that you can buy online and it's really pretty. You can know more about it here. When Nichelle ( who's holding the magazine ) proposed me to be featured in the 10th issue + to do an editorial and the cover, I was more than happy, I didn't think a lot before I said yes ! I've been featured in total in two issues, my series Dans ton jardin d'Eden was taken as an editorial in the 9th that you can purchase here ; and my interview + feature + cover is in the 10th ( that you can purchase here). It was the first time I did a real interview, I was quite nervous and didn't know how to answer rightly, between being too serious and too friendly. But it goes well so I now let you discover the photos I did for the editorial plus a little extra, enjoy !

L'endroit était magnifique ( tellement beau que j'ai décidé de re-shooter là-bas vendredi héhé ), et Claire était géniale, c'était la première fois qu'elle posait mais elle a adoré ça et a fait un travail incroyable !

Welcome on my new photography blog, launched today. As you can guess I will post here my photos in series, not to clutter up my flickr or dA with all photos in a same series. I will start by old series and so try to clean a little bit my flickr, putting a link under the photos to the article where the whole series would be. I also wanted to write a little bit, I used to do it on the flickr description of my photos, but as no one seamed to care, I stopped. I now kinda miss it so I hope you will enjoy it on a blog ;-)

First series I post is Roses. It is a one year old one I did with my beautiful best friend. Let me introduce her in a gentle series about flowers, hiding in the grass, and lot of pink.
